How much the value of peace?

Peace for Ethiopia

Peace is the foundation of everything. That is why when people meet, they often ask about their peaceful situation. They wake up in the morning and say, "Give greetings in peace"; And almost everyone will realize that peace is something of great value in his life, and he will stand for peace.

However, unlike many, there are forces that try to bring disturbance. As a result of these kinds of people, people in different parts of the world have avoided peace and tranquility and disturbed the daily lives of people in war, civil strife, terrorism and crime.

Millions of lives have been lost and destruction of property due to lack of peace, and it is happening. The 2017 Global Peace Index indicates that worldwide, $ 13.6 trillion is being spent every year due to lack of peace. Individually, one person loses $ 5 per day.

Syria, Yemen, Iraq and South Sudan occupy the top spot among the most disturbed states in the world. In particular, Syria and Yemen are turning into ruins due to civil war. The world-renowned Western civilization, Iraq, has been forced to act on its great civilizations because of terrorist groups, and the people have been subjected to extreme psychological pressure.

The peace of mind opens the door to death, physical abuse, displacement, persecution, epidemics and famine. Many of the citizens of Yemen who have lived in conflict areas for years have been killed and others forced to flee their country. Thousands are watching their cholera outbreaks. The rest of the population is suffering from hunger, and he fears that a humanitarian crisis may occur in the country.
The fact that there was no one to blame for the problems made the issue complicated. The destination of many lives has become the Mediterranean, not as they had hoped for, but for those who escaped. It is an indication of the cost of peace when it is assumed that the majority of the casualties of peace-keeping are children and women.
Civilizations built over the centuries have been a matter of hours or less, when country skirmishes smothered in barren smoke, skyscrapers collapse, and peace is at stake, when citizens struggle to cross the border and the sea, peace is priceless. Everyone understands that it is a treasure that cannot be saved and that we must defend it.
We have raised the experience of these countries, but we are well aware of the consequences of peace and the taste of peace. To understand the value of losing peace, it is enough to remember a generation lost in the name of red and white terror. Not to mention the latest, there are countless of our citizens who sacrificed for their power in the times of the monarchs. During all periods of rule, we have fallen out of the tower of civilization because our hands are not on war but on development.
Today, we have passed through that difficult time and have become a survivor to others. Since the EPRDF took power, peace has been able to bring peace to our country because the people have been able to resolve the problems and disputes that have led to peace breakdown.

The centuries-old voyage was struck by the fact that peace was the highest in this country. He can never be a citizen of a country that is uncertain about whether or not he will return safely. In the absence of productive citizens, economic growth is unthinkable. Our country's symbolism of hunger and thirst has grown because we are breathing in the air of peace, contemplating the height of Ethiopia.
Although the impact of our presence on the Horn of Africa, which has always been the hallmark of the crisis, has not been easy, our country has become a region of peace and security, with a focus on solving the internal problems that lead to peace.
The peace we enjoy today and tomorrow will only continue when all of us work hard for peace and fight peace without mercy. Yesterday, peace-loving nations have even faced the challenge of staying in peace, despite the fact that their peace has failed. And we have to keep our peace.
If we can maintain peace and stability in our country, we will not only end up with our current problems, but we will be permanently free of poverty and backwardness. It is impossible to imagine that we could make our country’s vision a reality if we are at peace
